msXfax Enterprise Fax Server software with Ribbon Communications Sonus SBC1k\2K Session Border Controller (SBC)  has been accredited for connection to the Telstra SIP Connect.

The Telstra “Notice of Compliance” is for the connection of the Better Network Services (BNS) configuration of the Ribbon SBC with msXfax Fax Server to the production environment of Telstra’s IP Telephony (TIPT) network using a Telstra SIP Connect – SIP Trunk.  These devices have met the necessary compliance requirements for connection to Telstra’s IP telephony network.

“It was important for BNS to complete the accreditation because Telstra customers will be migrating from ISDN based technologies to Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) based technologies by 2022. Telstra will be disconnecting ISDN Services and our customers need migrate to SIP telephone services such as Telstra SIP Connect. Customers are aware of their need to comply with privacy laws so direct connections to Telstra for fax is still used by: Governments, legal, health, finance and other industry segments.
