ATO has used BNS Group’s msXfax fax server platform since 2003.

From 2003 to 2018, the platform used Optus ISDN for the PSTN connection with physical servers and Dialogic Diva Fax boards.

2018 – BNS Group worked with Leidos, DXC and Optus providing BNS’s latest SIP-based FAX Server technology Sonus Session Border Controllers (SBC), Optus SIP Trunks and msXfax virtualised servers.

Millions of fax pages are sent and received by the ATO which is one of the largest Government departments in Australia.
